What can the Map feature do?
It shows the real-time positions of connected radios on a shared map — great for teams, outdoor activities, and staying safe.
Why does the app ask me to update before using the Map?
When you use the Map feature on the iPhone app, the Retevis App will prompt you to update first — because the Map feature needs the latest firmware AND the latest Bluetooth version. You can tap the link to view the update tutorial: EZTalk5 iOS Update Guide.
Do I need to pay extra for the Map feature?
No — it's free with the Retevis App.
How do I update the firmware and Bluetooth?
Two quick updates, both free — you can grab the files right here:
1.Firmware (Windows PC): Download the Retevis Firmware Upgrade Tool (Windows .zip), install and open it, select your model (EZTalk5 / EZTalk65), connect your radio with the USB cable, then click "Online Update".
2.Bluetooth (iPhone): Install the OTA app via Apple TestFlight (join the TestFlight), turn on Bluetooth and pair your radio, open OTA, then tap "Update" → "Upgrade".
3.Done: Open the Retevis App, connect your radio, and the Map feature unlocks automatically.
